Flawless. Porcelain. Alabaster. Do you use these words to describe your skin? Better yet, do others use these words to describe your skin? If not, be prepared to hear them.

Many women today want younger looking skin, but don’t know how to get it. Healthy glowing skin is possible by following a few simple rules.

Protect Your Skin When Outdoors

Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Be sure to re-apply sunscreen after perspiring or swimming. For maximum sun protection, try Dalfour Beauty Ultrawhite Body Lotion with SPF 70.

This is a lotion that contains sun protection & it’s not waterproof. If they were to use just this lotion and go lay on the beach, they would get burnt. It has high SPF but shouldn’t be used as the only sun protection.

Have it Made in the Shade

Seek shelter from the sun between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm when rays are the strongest. Trees and umbrellas will provide adequate shelter from damaging rays.

Wear Protective Clothing

Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, and wide-brimmed hats. Use laundry additives that give clothing an additional layer of ultraviolet protection. These additives are safe and typically last several washings. You can even buy sun-protective clothing at some clothing outlets. This clothing is designed to block ultraviolet rays and has built in UV protection.

Stop Smoking

Smoking cessation will improve the health of your lungs and the biggest organ on your body—your skin. Smoking causes wrinkles and makes you look older because it depletes oxygen and nutrients that enhance skin’s appearance. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin, the fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity. The repetitive facial expressions of pursing your lips when inhaling, or squinting your eyes to keep out the smoke while exhaling also produce wrinkles. Quitting is good for your overall health and well-being and will help prevent wrinkles in the long term.

Eat a Healthy Diet of Fruits & Vegetables

A healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables should be a staple in anyone’s skin care regimen. Quality nutrients feed your skin what it needs to stay clear and vibrant. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. The link between diet and skin breakouts is not well-defined, but some research proves that a diet rich in vitamin C and low in unhealthy fats and processed or refined carbohydrates may promote younger looking skin. There is no proof that eating chocolate causes breakouts either. Go ahead and enjoy that occasional piece of chocolate. Dark chocolate in particular is loaded with antioxidants that contribute to skin health.

Stay Hydrated

Skin is made up of cells, which are made up of water. Your skin is an organ, and organs don’t function properly without an adequate supply of H2O. If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, it will become dry, tight, and flaky. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling. Because water is lost every day, it must be replaced. Drink at least six eight-ounce glasses of water daily, unless a physician has directed you otherwise. Water plumps up your skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our bodies function better overall by staying hydrated at all times. A quick check to know if you’re fully hydrated is to check the color of your urine. It should be clear to pale yellow. If it is dark yellow then chances are you need to drink more liquids.

Don’t Get Stressed Out!

Uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive, causing breakouts and other skin problems. Manage stress by scaling back your to-do list and making time to do things you enjoy. Take a brisk walk with your pet, plant a garden, or take a bike ride. Activity will benefit your mind and body. Daily exercise will likely produce more dramatic results than you might imagine.

Get Plenty of Sleep

Not getting enough quality sleep will make your skin look old and tired, especially if you have dark circles, bags, or puffiness around your eyes. To get good quality sleep:

  • Keep a regular evening routine.
  • Take a warm, relaxing bath just before bedtime.
  • Eat your last meal or snack at least two hours before turning in.
  • Keep your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet.
  • Keep an eye mask and ear plugs nearby to diminish excessive light or noise.
  • Avoid caffeine in the evenings.

Cleanse Your Way to Flawless Skin

Always remember to cleanse your skin before bedtime. Never go to bed with make up on. This can clog pores and cause pimples to appear.

When you cleanse your skin, avoid using harsh soaps and detergents. They can strip skin of its natural oils. Choose mild cleansers instead. Consider cleansing with the Diana Stalder Papaya Kojic Whitening Bar, which contains a special blend of extracts that nourish the skin naturally while also producing a micro-exfoliation effect. Wash your face once in the morning and once at night. If you did any activities that caused you to sweat excessively, wash your skin as soon as possible after sweating. Perspiration irritates the skin so it’s important to rinse it off.

While cleansing your skin, resist the temptation to scrub it. Scrubbing can irritate your skin, especially if it’s sensitive. After cleansing, rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. No need to rub your skin vigorously. Doing this can aggravate your skin and strip it of natural moisture.

After drying, apply a good moisturizer that contains an SPF. Moisturizing is important because it protects your skin from becoming dry and dull and helps skin retain its natural moisture levels. Try Authentic-Relumins-Advance-Whitening-Facial-Cream-With-TA-Stem-Cell-Placenta--Intensive-Repair-Sun-Protection to help retain moisture and improve skin health.

Shave the Right Way

People shave to make their skin smooth and hairless, but shaving can irritate your skin, especially if it’s dry or sensitive. To get the best results, shave after a warm bath or shower. Use a sharp razor and shave in the direction the hair grows. Rinse well with lukewarm water afterwards. Never shave dry skin because it can cause unsightly red shaving bumps.

Your skin is the first thing people notice. If you want them to notice flawless, porcelain, alabaster skin, follow the above tips. Achieving healthy, glowing skin takes perseverance but if you take care of your skin, you will reduce wrinkles, look younger, and have confidence .
